Livestream Stewardship Event and Link Sunday, 3:30 p.m.

Hello Gloria Dei,

As you know, we’ve been focusing on our IMAGINE Stewardship Campaign over these past weeks. I’ve been centering my preaching on how the grace and love of God in Jesus Christ not only saves us but launches us into the world to love and serve in Jesus’ name. In addition, we’ve been highlighting different aspects of our ministry that we will be particularly focused on in 2021.

With that being said, I’d like to invite you to an IMAGINE Livestream Stewardship presentation this Sunday afternoon, November 8, at 3:30 p.m. You can use this link to join in - https://www.gloriadei-sd.org/nov8 If possible, please review the IMAGINE Campaign brochure that all members have received in the mail.

As we think about the marks of a Christian, many come to mind. Prayer, Bible reading, Christian friendships, love of family, love of neighbor, pursuit of peace, worship… and many more.

One of the marks of discipleship is giving back to God out of the abundance that God provides. The Christ-Centered ministry that is done in and through Gloria Dei is a result of your generosity in giving. We have a wonderful staff, but this church could not do what it does without your tremendous volunteering in all areas of ministry. And we could not do what God calls us to do without your generous financial support.

As we Imagine and Vision for the future, I want to simply say a big thank you for caring so much about the gospel of Jesus Christ and its proclamation. Gloria Dei is a blessed congregation, filled with loving and caring people, who, inspired by the Holy Spirit, are God’s instruments in the world.

I look forward to seeing you for worship this weekend and I look forward to seeing you on the Livestream Event this Sunday afternoon at 3:30 p.m.

We are together in Christ,

Pastor Tim

P.S. The Nominating Committee has been working to fill the slate for electing open council seats and other positions. The balloting will take place this weekend within worship.
