Companion Synods

The Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cameroon

• Gloria Dei directly sponsors Dr. James and Carolyn Brown, missionaries in Cameroon.
• Gloria Dei participates in the “Train Up a Child” scholarship program so that children in Cameroon can attend school.

The Lutheran Church of Nicaragua, Faith and Hope

• Gloria Dei makes an annual mission trip to Nicaragua to further our relationships and provide medical care to the poorest of the poor.
• Gloria Dei directly sponsors Mike Busebey, a missionary to Nicaragua.

Global Projects

• Gloria Dei alleviates world hunger by monthly offerings to the ELCA World Hunger Appeal.
• Gloria Dei quilters make quilts for Lutheran World Relief, Lutherans Outdoors and Shetek Bible Camp.
